Zheja is a small village located in the heart of Albania, 40 km from Durres. The village has the typical conformation of the Albanian villages: many scattered houses, hidden in the hills or the trees, without a town. The Oblate Sisters are dedicated to catechesis, assistance to the poor and the sick, as well as to the Christian education of families and young people, who find in the mission a center of healthy aggregation and growth.
